Doechii comes out as lesbian in subtle Instagram announcement

10 février 2026 à 10:32

Doechii appears to have come out as a lesbian.

Eagle-eyed fans of the musician noticed that she changed the Instagram bio on her lifestyle side account, gutsgritglamour, to include the word ‘lesbian’.

Doechii previously identified as bisexual, and has spoken about her sexuality on several occasions.

In an interview with Gay Times in 2024, she said: “I think I’ve always been gay. I always knew I was gay.

“I’m currently bisexual. I am with a woman now and I have always known that I loved women.

Another wrote: “A win for the queer community.”

Team GB skier Gus Kenworthy says he received death threats after anti-ICE post

10 février 2026 à 10:38

Team GB’s Gus Kenworthy has said he received death threats after sharing an anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) post.

On 5 February, the 34-year-old skier shared an anti-ICE post on Instagram, following increased public scrutiny of ICE in the wake of the fatal January shootings of Renee Nicole Good, and Alex Pretti.

Kenworthy’s post showed snow between his two skis reading “F*** ICE”, seemingly written in urine.

In a video uploaded on Sunday (8 February), Kenworth shared that he has been subjected to backlash over the post.

‘It’s insane’

He said in the video: “The other day I posted a photo with my thoughts on ICE and that photo has since gone everywhere, and I’ve gotten a ton of messages and most of them honestly have been supportive and encouraging…

“But a lot of the messages have been awful, people telling me to kill myself, threatening me, wishing they’ll get to see me blow my knee or break my neck during my event, calling me slurs… it’s insane.”

He added: “I think it’s important to say what we feel, and stand up for what we believe in, and stand up to injustice,” before concluding that you can still be a proud American, as he is, while believing the country “can be better”.

“Just because you love the US doesn’t mean you stand with this administration,” he continued, before describing ICE as “evil” and “terrifying”.

Ariana Grande’s brother, Frankie, responded to the video, writing: “I’m so proud of you Gus. Thank you for speaking up… with your pee pee.”

Swiss freestyle skier Sarah Hoefflin commented on Kenworthy and other athletes choosing to speak out against ICE, writing: “The world is proud of you for speaking up for what’s right, you all know you’re doing the right thing and you’re all absolute heroes for doing this, because it’s a hard thing to do.”

Kenworthy is representing Team GB at his fourth Winter Olympics in Italy. He won silver at the Sochi Winter Olympics in 2014 and also competed in PyeongChang in 2018, both for the US. He took part in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing for Team GB.

Bad Bunny breaks record for most watched Super Bowl Half Time Show in history

10 février 2026 à 10:47

As if being a multi-Grammy award winner and Spotify’s top-streamed artist since 2022 wasn’t enough, Bad Bunny has broken yet another record after his Super Bowl Halftime Show became the most watched in history.

The 31-year-old ‘King of Latin Trap’ put his money where his mouth is over the weekend after celebrating LGBTQ+ rights, Latin American culture, and global unity during his stunning musical performance at the Apple Music Super Bowl Half Time Show on Sunday (8 February).

His promise to make the show as queer as possible didn’t fall on deaf ears, with CBS News reporting that a whopping 135.4 million people tuned in to see the artist strut his stuff alongside Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, and many more.

Despite attempts by right-wing naysayers to stage a boycott of the performance, it managed to break records as the most-watched Super Bowl Half Time Show in the event’s 59-year history.

The achievement is no small feat, especially considering past performers include global superstars such as Rihanna, Shakira, Madonna, and Beyoncé.

His spectacular show paid tribute to his homeland of Puerto Rico, drenching the Levi’s Stadium in palm trees and sugar canes as crowds of people danced around the rapper.

“God bless America,” he yelled to the crowd. “Be it Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Tilla, Antilles, United States, Canada, my homeland, Puerto Rico. We are still here.”

He also took the chance to express his well-documented support of the LGBTQ+ community which, of course, enraged homophobes online.

Sources close to the singer told Radar Online in January that the artist had planned to make the show as queer as possible.

Bad Bunny’s setlist was practically bursting at the seams with 14 of his most popular songs, including Tití Me Preguntó and Party.

His widely-renowned discography has cemented him as Spotify’s top-streamed artist for over four consecutive years, with over 19.8 billion streams last year alone.

Heartstopper’s Kit Connor unrecognisable at Elton John’s ‘epic’ dinner party

10 février 2026 à 11:11

Heartstopper’s Kit Connor looked unrecognisable at Elton John’s “epic” dinner party.

Connor, who is known for his role Nick Nelson in Netflix teen series Heartstopper, looked remarkably different at Elton’s John’s recent dinner party.

In a photo posted by the “Rocket Man” hitmaker, captioned “epic dinner”, Connor stands in between Russell Tovey and a blonde Andrew Scott.

If the 21-year-old hadn’t been tagged in the photo, it would have been easy to not recognise him, as he sported a thick beard and moustache – a big difference from his usual clean shaven babyface.

Fans of the star were quick to comment on his new look. One fan of the actor wrote in a comment that has received more than 320 likes: “Wait Kit?! I didn’t recognise him.”

“I saw him tagged and was like huhhhh,” another fan wrote, while someone else joked of his new look: “The bearification of Kit.”

A perplexed Instagram user commented: “KIT CONNOR????”

“Kit and Andrew Scott?!?!!? I’m obsessed,” another person wrote, commenting on the duo’s different looks.

“Thank you for your service in providing us with a new Kit photo,” a different comment read.

Also in attendance at the “epic” dinner part was John’s husband, David Furnish, actor Kadiff Kirwan and Scissors Sisters frontman Jake Shears.

Connor is stillset to film the live-action adaptation of the Elden Ring video game and star in the zombie flock, Rapture, as well as One of Us and A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow.

Connor rose to international fame playing bisexual rugby player and student Nick Nelson in Alice Oseman’s Heartstopper, adapted for Netflix in 2022. Heartstopper is confirmed to end with a feature-length film, Heartstopper Forever.

Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong tells ICE staff to ‘quit that job’

10 février 2026 à 11:11

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has a strong message for United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers: the quicker you quit that “s*****” job, the better.

While performing at a pre Super Bowl party event on 6 February, the bisexual band leader, 53, shared a message intended for ICE agents across the US.

“This goes out to all of the ICE agents out there or wherever you are. Quit that s***** job that you have,” he urged, in a video clip captured by The Tennessee Holler.

“Because when this is over, and it will be over at some point in time, Kristi Noem, Stephen Miller, JD Vance, Donald Trump, they’re gonna drop you like a bad f****** habit. Come on this side of the line.”

The pre Super Bowl event where the band performed was sponsored by Spotify, which has faced mounting criticism in recent months for running ICE recruitment ads throughout 2025. The streaming service confirmed in January that the ad campaign is no longer active on the platform.

Elsewhere during Green Day’s set, which came two days prior to the band performing ahead of Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl, Armstrong changed numerous lyrics to reflect his stance on the state of America.

While performing their 2004 hit “American Idiot”, Billy Joe Armstrong replaced the lyric “I’m not a part of a redneck agenda” with “I’m not part of the MAGA agenda,” per Variety. During their rendition of 2005 song “Holiday”, Armstrong changed the interlude from “the representative from California has the floor” to “the representative from Epstein Island has the floor”.

Since coming back into power in January 2025, Trump has employed an aggressive anti-immigration stance, increasing the presence of ICE agents nationwide and promising to remove millions of “illegal aliens” from the streets of America.

In October, Trump’s secretary of homeland security Kristi Noem stated that ICE agents would be present at the Super Bowl for Bad Bunny’s performance. NFL bosses shut down the claim and promised that there was to be no planned ICE activity at the big game.

During the game on Sunday (8 February), Trump hit out at Bad Bunny, who is Puerto Rican, for what he dubbed a “disgusting” performance and the “worst ever” Half Time show. Trump took particular issue with Bad Bunny performing primarily in Spanish, suggesting that “no one” could understand what he was singing.

Green Day and Bad Bunny are among a growing list of musicians to call out the presence of ICE on the streets of America. Earlier this month, after winning the Album of the Year Grammy award for his record DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, Bad Bunny began his acceptance speech by urging “ICE out”.

“The only thing that’s more powerful than hate is love,” he said.

“So, please, we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love. We don’t hate them. We love our people. We love our family and there’s a way to do it, with love, and don’t forget that.”

Also at the Grammy Awards, Billie Eilish had stronger words, telling the audience: “F*** ICE.”

“As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything but that no one is illegal on stolen land,” she continued. “I feel like we just need to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting, and our voices really do matter, and the people matter, and f*** ICE. That’s all I’m going to say.”

Chappell Roan leaves talent agency after CEO is named in Epstein files

Par : Sophie Perry
10 février 2026 à 11:21

Lesbian pop superstar Chappell Roan has quit her talent agency, Wasserman, after the company’s founder and CEO was named in the Epstein files.

The “Pink Pony Club” singer confirmed she has cut ties with the agency via a statement published on her Instagram story.

“I hold my teams to the highest standards and have a duty to protect them as well,” she wrote.

“No artist, agent or employee should ever be expected to defend or overlook actions that conflict so deeply with our own moral values.”

Despite not mentioning the Epstein files in her post, her decision comes after the agency’s boss Casey Wasserman – who is also chairman of the 2028 LA Olympics – was revealed to have sent emails to both Jeffery Epstein and his co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell in 2003, the latter of which appear to be flirty exchanges.

The old emails came to light as part of the latest tranche of files released by the US Department of Justice in January 2026.

The “Epstein files” refers to the large raft of documents that were amassed during criminal investigations into financier Epstein’s sex trafficking of women and children, and includes millions of pages of transcripts, records and emails, alongside images of Epstein’s personal items and luxury properties.

Epstein died on 10 August 2019 while in federal custody, with New York’s medical examiner ruling his cause of death a suicide. However, multiple online conspiracy theories dispute this.

Maxwell was found guilty of sex trafficking a minor in 2021 and subsequently sentenced to 20 years in prison.

In the emails linked to Wasserman, he appears to say he wants to arrange a “massage” with Maxwell.

“Where are you, I miss you,” Wasserman wrote. “I will be in nyc for 4 days starting april 22…can we book that massage now?”

In another exchange, Wasserman and Maxwell were discussing her renting a house in California.

“I can’t sleep – where are you when I need you?” Maxwell says at one point.

The pair discuss the foggy weather in June in southern California, to which Maxwell asks: “What foggy enough so that you can float naked down the beach and no one can see you unless they are close up?”

In response, Wasserman said “or something like that…”

Wasserman is not accused of any wrongdoing by Epstein’s victims and the appearance of his name in the files does not imply criminal activity of any kind.

In her statement, Roan went on to say she has a “deep respect and appreciation” for agents who work “tirelessly” for their artists, adding: “I refuse to passively stand by.”

“Artists deserve representation that aligns with their values and supports their safety and dignity,” the singer continued.

“This decision reflects my belief that meaningful change in our industry requires accountability and leadership that earns trust.”

In a statement, shared with the Daily Mail, Wasserman said he “regrets” the exchanges with Maxwell and noted they took place before her crimes came to light.

“I deeply regret my correspondence with Ghislaine Maxwell, which took place over two decades ago, long before her horrific crimes came to light.

“I never had a personal or business relationship with Jeffrey Epstein,” Wasserman claimed. “As is well documented, I went on a humanitarian trip as part of a delegation with the Clinton Foundation in 2002 on the Epstein plane.

“I am terribly sorry for having any association with either of them.”

PinkNews has contacted Wasserman for comment.
