Meet gay Patriots cheerleader Jeremy Greer as he gears up for Super Bowl Sunday
Jeremy Greer, the only current male member of the New England Patriots’ cheer squad, is gearing up to cheer on his team at Super Bowl LX this Sunday (February 8) and represent visibility for the LGBTQ+ community.
Greer was born outside Houston, Texas, and began dancing at age 8.
They went on to attend the Houston Metropolitan Dance Center and received their degree from Texas Christian University’s School for Classical & Contemporary Dance.
Greer then went on to hone their craft, landing them a spot on the Patriots cheer squad for the 2025 season.

Greer, who uses he/they pronouns, wrote about their journey as a queer person on their website, saying: “Ultimately, I am a dancer and a queer person and anytime I can make life better for my peers in the same boat, I am going to do it.
“Maybe my dance will become more overtly a form of activism. Who knows what the future holds?
“All I know is the journey is not over yet, and going forward, it is going to be damn hard to shut me up,” they wrote.
